Our Story

Justin Pecikonis discovered his passion for building at an early age, starting with LEGOs and developing it into a lifelong love for the construction process. In 2001, he turned that passion into reality by founding JRP Design and Remodel with a clear vision – to offer clients his unique perspective on design.

Lori Pecikonis, on the other hand, had a different journey to JRP but shared a similar background. Growing up on job sites with her Commercial General Contractor father, Lori gained valuable experience before embarking on a successful career in custom home building and real estate.

When Justin and Lori met, it was not just love at first sight, but a recognition of their shared passion and complementary skills. This led them to join forces, with Lori leaving her thriving real estate career to contribute her attention to detail and organizational skills to JRP's internal operations.

Together, as the driving force behind JRP, Justin and Lori transformed the company from a Kitchen-and-Bathroom Contractor to a full-service Design-Build firm. Their dedicated team of Designers, Project Managers, and Tradespeople work seamlessly to fulfill a mission - crafting homes that are both beautiful and livable, overseeing transformative experiences for clients.

From their Thousand Oaks Blvd. showroom to national recognition in publications like Remodeling Magazine, Qualified Remodeler, and features on HGTV, JRP has consistently grown and excelled. Despite their national acclaim, JRP remains a family-owned and family-run company, fostering a close-knit environment for their employees.
