Client Review: Transitional Sophistication – After waiting 10 years to remodel my kitchen, I was lucky to find Justin and JRP Design & Remodel.

This remodel in Newbury Park is the epitome of transitional sophistication. The open-concept floor plan combines the kitchen, dining, and living room spaces into a gorgeous great room. It is perfect for entertaining and resort-style living. Originally, the color scheme before remodeling made this space feel cramped and dated. The JRP team was able to transform the space into an airy, modern, and easy flowing great room.

He made excellent recommendations to maximize our budget and resale value of the house. We had about $500k worth of ideas of things we would like to do and about half if that to actually spend. Ultimately our kitchen remodel grew to a much larger project and we couldn’t be happier with the result. JRP installed a balcony on our second floor, removed windows on two floors and installed beautiful wood sliders – all of which required engineering and permits. They took our kitchen and family room down to the studs and replaced the flooring and baseboards on the first floor – this was a BIG project.

From beginning to end we have been so impressed with the professionalism and quality with which Justin and his team performed this project. We spent well over $200k and feel we got every penny’s worth. If you are looking for a Designer/ contractor/remodeling company that offers exceptional quality, has a team that is professional, courteous, and the cream of the crop in terms of skillsets…you should contact JRP. I am amazed that they did absolutely everything and minimized the inconvenience to us (as we lived in the house throughout the entire process). We never had to worry about permits, inspections, or any of the details that go along with a large remodel – his team handled everything.
