Atlas Homewares Door Knockers

Elegant Additions to Your Home’s Front Door

Your front door is the first impression visitors have of your home, so it’s important to make sure that it’s a good one. There are a number of ways you can dress up your front door, everything from a fresh coat of paint to a new frosted glass patterned door, or an elegant Atlas Homewares door knocker.

When thinking about decorative additions to your front door, consider the overall look of your home and the impression you want to give guests about the type of people who live inside.  For example, if you live in an ultra-modern house, a stain glass insert might look out of place on your front door, and if your home is a simple suburban bungalow, large Atlas Homewares door knockers might be a bit too elaborate.

Here are just a few of the front door additions available from JRP Design & Remodel to consider.

Glass

Glass is one of the most common additions to front doors. Small windows can by placed in the top part of the door, or on either side. Many different types of class are available, from clear, to colored, to frosted. If you are concerned about home security, shatterproof or reinforced glass is also an option; however, there are many front door designs in which the glass is relegated to a very small area that would be difficult to use to break in.

Door Hardware

Door hardware refers to door handles, locks, and knockers. Well-chosen hardware is one of the easiest and least expensive additions to your front door, and JRP Design & Remodel has a wide selection of hardware to choose from. Locks and handles are essential for all front doors, but there are other additional pieces of hardware to choose from as well, such as Atlas Homewares door knockers.

Contrasting Colors

A little paint or wood stain can go a long way towards making an old front door look new. Genuine wood doors can be treated with a variety of wood stains to get the most appealing hue. You can also paint your front door in a color that contrasts with the rest of your house. Try a bright shade to make the front of your house stand out.

Wrought Iron

Wrought iron adds a tasteful, classic touch to your front door. Iron bars can be placed over glass sections, or over the front door itself. Though on the expensive side, wrought iron bars look great and also make your front door more secure.

Let JRP Design & Remodel help you make a great first impression by adding Atlas Homewares Door Knockers or other unique touches to your front door.
